Swimdo satellite school at Sumba island

Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world; most of its territory is water, but there are still many Indonesians who cannot swim. Swimdo is here to spread the knowledge of safety in the water and survival swimming for all children in Indonesia. Currently we are operating fully in Bali. Every year we visit other islands and teach the Swimdo program to children in areas with a high risk of drowning. Last year we visited Southwest Sumba to teach children from the Dyatame school. In less than a week, we taught more than 70 Dyatame children to swim and backstroke for survival, as well as how to save drowning victims without endangering themselves. Our dream is to teach more children in Indonesia to swim and be safe in the water. So that they can be more courageous in exploring the beauty of Indonesian waters without fear of drowning.
